Easy Beef Stroganoff
There’s just something about Beef Stroganoff! It’s something that mom Hitzfield would cook for her seven boys often. When you have a house full of boys with big appetites in the house, you need a meal that is filling and easy to make. Beef Stroganoff is so simple, yet so flavorful to make!

Ingredients

  • (1 Can) Canned Beef Chunks
  • (2 TBSP) Butter
  • (1) Medium Onion, chopped
  • (2-4 TBSP) Flour
  • (16 oz.) Sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms
  • (1 cup) Heavy Cream
  • (1 cup) Sour Cream
  • (12-16 oz) Pasta of your choice
  • (to taste) Salt and Pepper
  • (garnish) Fresh Thyme (optional)

Directions

How to Make It:

  1. Bring a pot of water to a full boil and cook pasta of your choice according to package instructions. Strain and set aside.
  2. Over medium heat, melt butter, then add onions and cook for 2 minutes. Add in flour and mix to create a roux.
  3. Next, add in the mushrooms, beef chunks and broth from the can, heavy cream, and sour cream. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened.
  4. Toss the pasta back into the sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
